We have been creating websites for clients many years, in 2005 we branched out into audio production and content creation, as a result we launched our first major podcast in called the PromoPicker podcast.

The podcast was very successful and there was a demand for further themed podcasts, several of which were launched in 2005/6.

Due to the success of the our music podcast we then moved into the streaming audio market in 2007 and launched a number of streaming audio channels for clients and our own radio station.

In 2009 our own radio station changed hands to facilitate our switch from audio content creation and concentrate on mobile content and application development at this point it was decided to re-brand and change our name to Generic Server.

We then began looking at launching a raft of services and applications under our new name including web hosting, audio stream hosting and mobile application development.

In 2010 we became a Limited Company and we now create and manage a large portfolio of websites, podcasts and audio streams for our clients and have a number of applications for sale and more in development.
