Android Apps Charges, Payments and Terms and Conditions

App pricing:

As a guide the charge per page will be £25 with a minimum charge of £125 per app.

A page is defined as a single tab or single page which is no more than 460,800 pixels in size.

Creation of new graphics or logos, sounds or videos will incur an extra charge.

All other work is billed at £12 per hour.

App Updates:

At our discretion apps will be updated with bug-fixes, performance fixes and layout fixes free of charge.

All other updates are chargeable.

Android Marketplace Rejections:

Rejection owing to bugs, faults, etc.:

If an app is rejected from the Android Marketplace, we will attempt to re-submit the application up to a maximum of five times.

If an app is rejected you accept our total liability to you is the price of the app which we will refund.

We guarantee that once an app is available for sale in the Android Marketplace it will remain available for up to three months, if the app is rejected or removed by us or by Google, we will at our discretion refund the full original sale cost of the app. This does not apply where an app has been removed at the request of the customer or where Google has received complaints and removed the app.

We are not liable for the non-availability of the Android Marketplace or your app on the Android Marketplace for any reason.

Rejection owing to customer requested features or changes:

If an app is rejected owing to any issues with features or settings in the app that have been requested by the customer any changes to the app will be chargeable at our discretion.

You are deemed to have accepted our terms and conditions if you continue to have your app listed for sale in the Google Android Marketplace.

Yearly Charges:

There is a yearly charge of £10 per app for inclusion in the Android Marketplace when using our Android Marketplace account.

Paid Apps:

Your paid app will attract the following pay out rates:

0-1000 unit sales per quarter = 50% of the app purchase price – £0.20 per app sale

1001-10,000 unit sales per quarter = 51% of the app purchase price – £0.20 per app sale

10,001-50,000 unit sales per quarter = 53% of the app purchase price – £0.20 per app sale

50,000+ unit sales per quarter = 55% of the app purchase price – £0.20 per app sale

We will credit your app payment account with payments received from Google. Pay outs are made every three months. If the balance of your app payment account is under £10, the balance will carry over each quarter until it reaches above the £10 threshold.

Should Google withhold payment for any reason on your app, we will inform you as soon as we can. Should Google withhold payment we will be unable to credit any payments to your app payment account until the payments are received from Google.

Changes to paid apps pricing may be made at any time, however we require 48 hours notice of any changes in pricing. We will change your app pricing up to four times in any one month period free of charge. Further charges will be charged at £12 per change.

App download statistics

We will make available download statistics for your app once every month. We may update those statistics more often at our discretion.

Pre-Pay or in-contract app updates:

Where we offer to update your app as part of a contract or inclusive deal (not included as standard with all apps):

We will include up to 3 hours of labour each month on your app, there is no carry forward of hours.

We will submit your app to the Android Marketplace a maximum of once per month.
